We kick off the campaign by presenting our 3Ds - what we defend, demand, and decline - as well as by sharing the event invitation to the launch of the Forus Post-2030 Vision report happening on May 21! The Forus post-2030 vision comes from our global civil society network of 74 National NGO Platforms and 8 Regional Coalitions, representing over 24,000 NGOs. It reflects collective reflection, lived realities, and voices often excluded from global agenda-setting. Join our multilingual social media campaign to explore these positions through posts, podcasts, and articles unpacking the vision.
This is not the moment to step back.
In this second week of social media mobilisation we draw on national and regional consultations and scenario mapping with our members and partners, to set out clearly what we defend, demand, and decline — our 3Ds for a credible post-2030 agenda. We also sketch out possible futures — from continuity to reset or even fragmentation — and explain the current global context that will influence the next development framework.
🔵 Reset — the most ambitious horizon
🔴 Fragmentation — the constant risk
Forus' vision is built to stay politically relevant across all three.
For this third week we focus on the report launch and a few critical questions guiding our vision. What is the one thing the next global development agenda must not lose? What are the biggest gaps the future framework must fix? How can we ensure, through stronger financing, real accountability, deeper localisation, and meaningful civic participation, that the next framework truly delivers? And ultimately, what makes a development agenda truly credible — rooted in ambition, firm accountability, and real implementation?
It is grounded in collective reflection, lived realities, and the voices of those too often pushed to the margins of global agenda-setting.
Forus is launching a collective civil society vision on what must be defended, demanded, and declined as this debate unfolds.
We look forward to engaging governments, UN actors, donors, partners, and civil society allies.
For this fourth week we bring forward the voices that matter most — members, youth, and community actors — while opening the doors to our launch event. Whose voices should shape the post-2030 agenda? What kind of future should the next global development framework protect — and who gets to answer that question? As registration opens for our 21 May launch, we ask: can a framework be truly credible if the people most affected by it are left at the margins? And as we enter the final stretch, what must still be defended, demanded, and declined — loud and clear — before the conversation begins in earnest?

The choices made today will define tomorrow's global framework.
Where do you stand?
We close the campaign with the full report launch. We reinforce all key messages, activate the final call for registration and celebrate the 21 May launch with a call to collective action.
